Pay using mVISA: NO Card Required at POS: SBI

State Bank of India (SBI), the launch of mVisa, a mobile-based payment solution. This helps customers to make payments from their smartphones just by scanning the unique merchant QR (Quick Response) code, at merchant outlets.

mVisa is a card-less solution which facilitates payment by scanning the QR code displayed at the merchant outlet or from the merchants mobile. SBI customers (both Debit Card holders as well as Internet Banking customers, having transaction rights) You can do  easy payments to the merchants by simply scanning QR code image hence there is no  need to swipe the physical card at a point-of-sale (PoS) machine. Bank customer can simply download the latest version of SBI Anywhere application, from ‘Google Play Store’ and need to register for mVisa payments by simply clicking the mVisa icon on the home screen.

 SBI mVisa merchant app is also available in ‘Google Play Store’ and is used for receiving the payment notification, generation of static and dynamic QR codes, viewing transaction history etc. by the merchants. SBI mVisa merchants can accept payment from any mVisa customers. While in case of static QR code amount is filled by the mVisa customer himself, in case of dynamic QR code amount can be filled by merchants and can be authorized by the customer after scanning of QR code.

 Any Bank mVisa customer can transact on any mVisa merchants and likewise any mVisa merchant can accept payment from mVisa customers of any bank. It provides convenience of quick transaction, along with enhanced security,

The best part of this sericce is that  customers need not to  share their's Card or Mobile with the merchant anytime during the payment process.

There is two different number for balance inquiry and statement.

Most of bank have already started this service much earlier but I don't understand being BIG brand in Banking and having maximum Branch /ATM with maximum customer they have implemented this so late. However SBI is known for its better customer service in terms of Technology.

STATE BANK OF INDIA -PREPAID CARDS

State Bank Smart Payout Card is a prepaid Card which is issue within INDIA and in  Indian Rupees powered by VISA. It is an ideal product for making periodical payments like salary, wages, commission, etc and also can be issued as an add-on Card for the existing account holders.It  can be used for cash withdrawal at ATMs, for purchase transactions at merchant establishments and for e-Commerce transactions i.e., for online payment.This card request can be done at your SBI branch
State Bank Smart Payout cards' are enabled for Cash withdrawal,Balance enquiry at other Bank ATMs(will be charged as prescribed from time to time) currently Rs.20/-Per withdrawal and Rs.9/- for balance enquiry.

State Bank of India (SBI) launched a pre-paid card as "SBI Smart Payout Card"


 State Bank of India  (SBI) launched a pre-paid card  as "SBI Smart Payout Card" for students, employees, workers, and contract labourers. This card is focus to customers don't need to open any bank account to subscribe to these cards.

The exercise is aimed at financial inclusion. It will help garner low cost current and savings account (CASA) deposits. Using such cards customers can transfer money from one place to the other. Especially for contract labourers who work in urban areas, it is very useful
The KYC (Know Your customer) norms are also relaxed here. This will enable the product to reach its target audience. Customer needs a basic proof of identification. Any KYC compliant SBI customer can introduce a new customer. An employer too can endorse its employee's application. These cards can be used in all existing

Feature of SBI Smart Payout Card
1) SBI group ATMs and 65,000 points of sales (PoS) at free of cost.
2) The pre-paid card bears a charge of Rs 9-20 per transaction in case of other banks'
3) ATMs. The pre-paid card can be loaded with Rs 10,000 at a time with a monthly cap of Rs 25,000.
4)SBI will charge Rs 102 as fees for issuing the card with a validity of 10 years.

This card will help small scale companies (SMEs) to  give salaries via such cards.

Generate your Virtual VISA enable e-Card Instantly using State Bank of INDIA(SBI)

Have you came across the situation where you were not able to do online transaction where there is only option of VISA/MASTER credit card/debit card and there is no option for Internet banking. 3) Enter the amount and select an account which will be debited for funding (initially lien-marking and later debiting) the Virtual Card.
4) Enter the secure 8-digit password (OTP), received on your mobile.
After successful validation, Card image with Card No., expiry date, etc will be displayed on the screen and your Card is now created and available for e-commerce transaction

SBI launched SMS based complain process


Indian largest banking institution SBI has started SMS based complain service. SMS Unhappy is the latest facility launched by the Bank to improve customer service.  The service is available 24 x 7 and you do not need to visit the branch to register your grievance.  All you need to do is to send just one SMS to the Bank.  It is thus paperless and one more Green Initiative of the Bank.

If you are not happy with the services offered by our Bank, just SMS “Unhappy” to 8008202020 and our dedicated “happy executives” will call you and get details regarding from you.  They, together with your branch will resolve the issue to your satisfaction.  The quick resolution of all your banking related troubles will surely bring a smile on your face.
